While it lacks the oversized front wheel, custom handlebars, and front mounted foot pegs this Harley Davidson motorcycle still has a mean kick. The 1200cc engine turns out 79 ft-lbs of torque at 4000 RPM. It’s mated to the standard six speed transmission, is that with electronic sequential port fuel injection (ESPFI). It boasts better than average fuel economy without sacrificing power or performance.

Take a quick look at this bike and you find chrome, staggered Shorty exhaust, full front and rear fender, two-up classic seat, stainless steel pullback handlebars, a narrow frame and suspension, and a 4.5 gallon low style custom fuel tank. This motorcycle is available in eight colors schemes and is shown here in Red-Hot Sunglow.

The 2009 Sportster 883 Custom continues to enjoy the warm reception showered on it by new and experienced Harley Davidson riders alike. While it shares much in common with the other members of the Sportster family, it has a unique set of features that sets it apart.

Still present is the 883cc engine. While it is the smaller of the two Sportster power plants, it has all the torque that it needs to stay nimble on it’s feet. Also, the six speed transmission and Electronic Fuel Injection system combine to give it better performance and fuel consumption than ever before.

The exterior styling points are what really make this motorcycle stand out. They include a silver powder-coated engine and transmission, chrome shorty exhaust, a larger front wheel, full rear fender, forward-mounted footpegs, and a bullet headlamp. Made available in nine colors and shown here in Red Hot Sunglow/Smokey Gold.

Originally conceived by Harley Davidson designers as bike tailored to the European market, the XR1200 received a lot of positive mention in various motorcycles publications and caused a hue and cry among US Sportster owners who wanted one for themselves.

Never know to let their customers down, the powers that be chose to release the XR1200 in North America in 2009. This bike has a racing blood running through it’s veins from it’s silver powder-coated engine, to it’s narrow frame, to it’s mid-mounted footpegs.

The motorcycle is powered by the same 1200cc air-cooled, Evolution engine as other models on the Sportster line, but tuned to produce 73.91 ft-lbs of torque at 4,000 rpm. Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection and a six-speed transmission come standard.

Exterior styling points include black 3-spoke cast aluminum wheels, recessed headlamp, 2-1-2 exhaust system, and ram-air style intake. Available in three color schemes and shown here in Mirage Orange Pearl.

The Iron 883 version of Harley Davidson’s Sportster incorporates more blacked out elements than another bike in their entire lineup. Even then Nightster. One thing is for sure, if Batman walked into a Harley dealership, this is the bike he’s most likely ride out on.

This non-nonsense bike is stripped of all the frills leaving only the what’s needed to provide a one-of-a-kind ride. Don’t think that this bike is lacking in the performance department. Harley designers properly matched the 883cc fuel-injected engine along with a tuned 6-speed transmission to the platform in order to provide all the power most riders would need to make the Iron 883 one hell of a ride.

Noticeable exterior features include sport fender with painted brace supports, chopped rear fender, chrome staggered shorty exhaust, black body headlamp, one piece solo-seat, and black drag style handlebars. Available only in two color setups and shown here in Black Denim.

The powerful motor doesn’t let even avid motorcycle enthusiasts down and the custom styling will have you feeling right at home at the next rally even though you may not have spend $10k -$20k on upgrades.

The bike shares the 1200cc air-cooled Evolution V-Twin engine with the other models in the Sportster lineup, but this one puts out 79 ft-lbs of torque at 4,000 rpm. Electronic Fuel Injection comes standard and this motorcycle gets a full 57 mpg on the highway (42 city) through it’s efficient use and proper matchup to the 6-speed transmission.

The chrome laced steel wheels, the one-piece two-up seat, stainless steel low-rise handlebars, and forward mounted footpegs fuse the 1200 Custom with all the style you need. Available in eight colors and shown here in Flame Blue Pearl/Pewter Pearl.

The air-cooled 73.4 cubic-inch engine incorporates Electronic Fuel Injection and cranks out 79 ft-lbs of torque at 4,000 rpm. While the performance is higher than the 883 line, at 57 highway/42 city, the difference in fuel efficiency is almost not noticeable.

The shadowy exterior styling features inclue a low-profile, chopped front fender, a chopped rear fender, chorme slash-cut exhaust, black body headlamp and visor, a one-piece solo seat, and black low-rise handlebars.
