			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>After years of turmoil, The Inidan Motorcycle Company came back online with with different owners in late 2008 and quickly introduced the Chief line as their spearhead platform to reenter the American motorcycle market.</p>
<p>The Indian Chief Standard is build alongside the other models with the major differences being accessories and styling points.  Powered with by an air cooled 105 Cubic-inch, V-Twin engine coupled with a six speed transmission.</p>
<p>Exterior features on this motorcycle include a chromed tear-drop Halogen headlamp, auxilliary driving lamps, a die cast console which is color-matched to the bike, black and polished engine with chrome covers, and 2-into-1 stainless steel exhaust system equiped with three way catalytic converter and chromed shields.  Available in four color combination, shown here in Indian Red.</p>

This motorcycle was built to provide comfort through extended touring campaigns that can span entire continents.  This motorcycle is powered by Victory&#8217;s 100 Cubic-Inch Freedom&reg; V-Twin Engine which produces 85 hp and 106 ft-lbs of torque.</p>
<p>Incorporated are a spacious trunk and real-leather saddlebags, flared fenders with classic style, stretched out riding position with a full backrest for the passenger, and premium comfort seating.  The bike comes available in 5 color-styles, shown here in 2-tone Blue Ice/Pearl White with a Carbon stripe.</p>
