The Street Glide is one of the bikes that is quickly identified by the public at large as a Harley Davidson and in 2009 it’s been recast better than ever.
The major upgrade was the completely redesigned frame which is both stronger and offers superior ride quality. A new front fork and rear shocks complement the frame overhaul and these three points combined were meant to provide a better touring experience for long-distance riders.
Powertrain components remain classic with the 96 cubic-inch, twin cam air-cooled V-Twin engine still throwing 92.6 ft-lbs of torque through the 6-speed transmission and isolated drive system in order to get you where you want to go.
Exterior features include new cast aluminum wheels wrapped with Dunlop tires. Also equipped with a 2-1-2 exhaust system, one-piece, two-up classic seat, and large 6-gallon gas tank which helps cut down on fill-up interruptions.
Of course the bike still has it’s trademarked “Bat Wing” fork-mounted fairing, injection-molded GTX saddlebags, Harman/Kardon advanced audio system. Available in 10 color combinations and shown here in Vivid Black.
